Naticarius concinnus (Dunker, 1860)

Naticids are widely distributed and occur world-wide. The greatest diversity of moon snail is found in tropical water. The foto was taken on the Caribbean.

Moon snails feed on carnivorous without exception. Stigmaulax cayennensis live on and under sand.They hunt other mollusks, but also eat carrion.
